We believe in a low overall child to staff ratio.
This affords each child a greater degree of individual attention. Our teacher led individual and group activities ensure that the particular needs of a child are met. Our curriculum strives to combine learning with fun activities that enhance the learning process.
MHDS offers classes in music, art, foreign language, sign language and creative movement. We have story and library time. Children participate in Nature Club classes and have the opportunity to participate in the gymnastics classes offered by The Fun Bus and in the soccer program put on by "Soccer Shots." Many in house programs, such as puppet shows, go on throughout the school year. Field trips are also taken.
